Tailgating

Please be on the lookout for these individuals as you tailgate at Miller Park this summer.  We don't condone illegal activity on this site so we're getting this out as a public service to assist stadium security (ts ts ts).

I found one way to avoid the cost of drinking at the game is to utilize a common water bottle.  Miller Park allows you to carry in sealed plastic water bottles and peanuts.  I have been using an empty water bottle and filling with Gray Goose Vodka.  I recommend resealing the bottle using a butane torch, but be careful to just melt the plastic and avoid blacken the cap.  You can utilize a large breath mint container for your olives.  This will help you avoid having to pay $7.50 for a bottle of Miller Lite.  A potential improvement to this is to insert a "clear distilled beverage of choice" in place of Gray Goose.  That brings in Gin!  Forgot to mention I usually have my kids carry the "water bottle" past security.

Drive your car to approximately to Hwy 100...Get off exit and go north to
Bluemound... Then head east to Jimmy Wong's Sports bar.  We usually get
there about two hours
before game and have a pitcher or two of beer and a few hot dogs...more
than half the price you would pay at Miller Park.  Jimmy offers free
shuttles to fans at any time you want
and has his shuttles ready any time after the 7th inning.  You can also
walk...it is a short way.  But if cold or rainy..the shuttle is the way to
go.

Getting there a couple hours early gets you plenty of free parking on side
street.  We usually turn left at Jimmy's...go down one block...then turn
right a go one block east...turn
right heading to Bluemound and find a parking spot.  When game is
over...you go to stop light...take a right on Bluemound and you are on your
way to La Crosse.

It is wonderful...Go Brewers!
